We would like to thank everyone who sent in a proxy or attended the Annual Homeowners Meeting. We appreciate you spending time to discuss our subdivision business.

Stone Gate Shrubs (Boxwood) Could Be Infested With An Invasive Moth

We want to pass along some information that might help our neighbors that have Boxwoods in their landscape that are not looking so good.

An invasive species called the Box Tree Moth has been reported in our neighborhood that could be causing Boxwoods to brown and lose leaves. These moths are very destructive to your boxwoods, so it is important that you treat them as soon as you notice their damage.

Here is a link to the MSU Extension that will give you a start on researching how to treat this condition if you have it.

We wish everyone the best of luck treating their shrubs.

WOW Cable Services Coming to Stone Gate Subdivision

The HOA Board was contacted by WOW Cable Company informing us that Stone Gate is scheduled for fiber optic installation sometime in 2024. There wasn’t a lot of detailed information communicated but we want to get you the information we’ve been given to get you up to speed on the upcoming project. Since this will be the biggest project in our subdivision in many years, we feel it’s important to notify you quickly and will send updates when more information is received.

So, this is what we’ve learned so far.

Stone Gate Welch Road Landscape Improvement

Have you noticed the newly groomed area along Welch Rd south of Stoney Ln? For the first time since our sub was developed, Stone Gate contracted our landscaping vendor to clean up more area around the South Stoney Ln entrance and a 10 to 15 foot wide strip all the way down Welch to the end of our subdivision. They cleaned and seeded an approximately 550 foot path south of Stoney Ln and another 100 feet north of it. Our intent is to continue mowing and trimming the area giving our neighborhood a much-improved look for years to come.
